“Get your guns boys! They’re robbing the bank!”

Sunday started out early as we headed down to Northfield to help celebrate the Defeat of Jesse James Days! The day started out with breakfast, then off to watch the famous reenactment, followed by a sidewalk packed parade and ended in a beautiful coronation to celebrate the outgoing DJJD ambassadors and welcome in the incoming ones!

As we start to get into our training meetings and focus on our Pillars of Leadership, it was an amazing opportunity to witness an organization that focuses so much on Teamwork and Courage. Teamwork, being shown as DJJD is one of the largest volunteer ran organizations in Minnesota and Courage that’s shown in each reenactment of the townspeople who stood up to the James/Younger Gang.

Queen Mara is all settled in and has completed her

Queen Mara is all settled in and has completed her first day of freshman year at Gustavus Adolphus College! She is majoring in Elementary Education and is considering minoring in Swedish. She has auditioned for the choir and is planning on auditioning for the fall play as well!

Princess Kharisma has officially completed her fir

Princess Kharisma has officially completed her first week of freshman year! She is pursuing a double major in Business Administration and Psychology at Hamline University!

We had an amazing fundraiser opportunity with Litt

We had an amazing fundraiser opportunity with Little Farm Hands at the State Fair this year! Princess Avalon and Queen Mara along with other festival volunteers worked various shifts helping little farmers find their way while getting to share with their families all about our festival.

Of course, once the work was done, the girls enjoyed the best parts of the fair… the food!

Thank you to the many people that helped us reach our goal of 60 volunteers! We would not be where we are today without the continued support of our community! ❤️

First day of school! First day of school!🎓

Princess Avalon started her first day of Junior year at College of Saint Benedict and Saint Johns University. There, she is pursuing a double major in Business and Communications with an emphasis in Marketing. She is also the Student Director of Social Media for the Saint Johns University Athletic Department as well as the On Field Promotions and Manager of the wrestling team. If that’s not enough to keep her busy, she also serves and helps run the social media for Bello Cucina. Here’s to a busy and exciting year!

Yesterday the girls traveled across state lines for North Hudson Pepperfest! The day started out with a parade and ended up with a win in their group at the Royalty Spaghetti Eating Contest! 🍝

As “Fun” is our unofficial sixth pillar of leadership, the girls got to participate in Sparkle Night at CHS Field and walk the field with other ambassador groups before enjoying a Saints game under stadium lights!

Tuesday was spent in the town of Cokato celebratin

Tuesday was spent in the town of Cokato celebrating their Corn Carnival! This coronation is always a blast not only because the coronation is held in the middle of the Carnival but afterwards we get to stay and join in on the fun! Thank you Lora and Kate for spending your year with our 22’-23’ girls and we can’t wait to get to know Hannah, Lauren and Carly!

Last Monday, Queen Mara and Princess Kharisma attended the Rice Street Royalty Coronation to congratulate the 2022 Royalty, cheer on our very own 19-21 Queen Jayda and welcome in the 2023 royalty. We had such a great time seeing familiar faces and meeting some new ones. It was such a beautiful coronation and we’re looking forward to spending the year with Sicilya, Mariah and Ally! ❤️👑💙

Last Saturday, we headed on over to the Little City on the Crow, Hanover, to participate in their parade and attend their ambassador coronation. Congratulations to Grace and Elsa on an amazing year representing your community and we look forward to getting to know Lilly and Melia!

When they tell you that summer is the busy season they’re not lying! The girls have had quite the busy week and got a well deserved day of rest before starting another busy weekend!

This last Friday, the girls sure felt the “Lino Love” at the Lino Lakes Ambassador Coronation. There they got to congratulate Selah, Lauren, & Emily on a wonderful year and welcome the new ambassadors Carley, Katie, & Libby! We’re so excited to spend our year with you!

What a night in Hopkins! Last night Princess Avalon, Princess Kharisma, and Queen Mara went around different neighborhoods for National Night out! They got to meet new people, hang out with the police and fire department AND they even named the 1957 Ford Fairlane,“Farrell”!

They finished the night with the cardinal rule of Farrell, going to DQ!

The Aqua Magic was definitely in the air this past week in Minneapolis!

Princess Avalon, Princess Kharisma, and Queen Mara enjoyed the “Best Days of Summer” last week at not only the Torchlight Parade on Wednesday but as well as the Aquatennial Ambassador Coronation on Saturday✨

Congratulations to the outgoing Aquatennial Ambassadors on an amazing year, and we are excited to share the year with Princess Sydney, Princess Lexi and Queen of the Lakes Claire❤️👑⚓️
